I have no idea what is going on over there on channel 210. There is no focus, it's just little five minute "pods" (what the hell does that mean? is it like a segment?) about random stuff. They've got these fake little "presenters" (think of a VJ only trying to be cool in an Al Gore sorta way.) putting in their 2 cents like someone cares, except no one cares because they've got these slacker attitudes.
Here's my question... What the hell is Current about? I tried to watch it and I just got frustrated. I saw some good "pods" but they were only five minutes long and didn't really tell me anything. Tell me to go to current.tv and find more info. Tell me something. I don't need some VJ... sorry "presenter" making slacker comments after a story about the life of kids over in Iran.
I guess I should have known though. Apparently, there are a lot of people from Channel One on this network. The problem with that is Channel One has a captive audience, you don't. If I'm confused I change the channel. With Channel One I was stuck there no matter what. I have a remote. Anyway, I won't completely bash it though. Like I said there were some good "pods." It's kinda of like MTV news with half the onscreen talent (I know, I didn't know MTV had great on screen talent either, but now I know better.) Anyway, here is some guys ideas for making Current better. I agree that these things would make it work better. That and a schedule of some sort.
